My Washing Machine is stopping on the cycle

There are many reasons why this would happen. One of the most expensive components on a washing machine is the programme timer & of the lowest failure rates.

In order for the timer to complete the cycle. All the other components should be in good working order also. The machine must fill to a washing level, heat the water, empty the water, fill & empty for the rinses & then spin & knock itself off.

It is important to assess if the machine has water in it when it stops on the cycle or not. If the washing machine hasn’t water in it. If the machine has water in it. Check the heater is o.k. If the heater is faulty. Replace the heater . If the heater is o.k. You may need to call an engineer. If the machine won’t empty. See My Washing Machine wont empty water.
