Oven Bulb « Cooker - Oven Parts

The oven bulb or oven lamp as it’s often known is located inside the upper oven cavity – usually operated by a door switch - & throws light around the oven itself. It’s amazing how little you can see inside the oven when the oven bulb isn’t lighting. The oven bulb cover can often crack or split when it’s being removed. Be careful. The glass may be sharp.

Best to check what kind of shape the oven bulb cover is in before ordering the oven bulb – just in case you need it.

Sometimes the threaded part of the oven bulb remains in the oven bulb holder. It can be removed by twisting the threaded part anti-clockwise.
