My Dishwasher door never seems to be hot

The later type Dishwashers take in less water & therefore heat less water than the earlier appliances. This is to comply with new energy consumption regulations.

The result is that few Dishwashers heat the water above the spray arm during a wash cycle. If you’re happy with your wash results and the programme control is moving through the cycle, you can be happy that the Dishwasher is heating the water.
