What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes content to a wide number of people. It is used by computer programs that organize those headlines and notices for easy reading.

In our case, we use RSS Feed 2.0 to inform you about latest Spare and Spare Parts, Repair Tips, updates in our Brands Section, appliances, updates in appliances subcategories, etc...

Why use RSS?

Without RSS, users will have to check your site daily for new updates. This may be too time-consuming for many users. With an RSS feed (RSS is often called a News feed or RSS feed) they can check your site faster using an RSS aggregator (a site or program that gathers and sorts out RSS feeds).

Since RSS data is small and fast-loading, it can easily be used with services like cell phones or PDA's.

Appliance Parts Direct with similar information can easily share data on their web sites to make them better and more useful.

What Program i need to read RSS?

Most modern browsers they already have an RSS Feed Reader included. You can use Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3, Opera, Apple Safari to easily subscribe to our RSS Feed. For example; in Mozilla Firefox you can subscribe to our RSS Flux very easy by clicking a orange image, then on top of your page press the button "Subscribe Now" and choose "Bookmark Folder".
Another method is to use a program specialized like: Feedreader or Rss Bandit.
