First of all ALWAYS isolate the Tumble Dryer from the mains supply. If your Tumble Dryer is hard-wired in then turn it off at the wall AND at the consumer unit. These types of installations SHOULD have there own circuit to isolate at the consumer unit. NEVER rely on the switch alone.
Some of the modern Tumble Dryers use a standard plug. Ensure that it is removed/isolated before you attempt to carry out repairs. These Repair Tips are intended as a guide only. If unsure of how to carry out a repair on an appliance, consult a suitably qualified engineer.
**TEST TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO POWER TO THE APPLIANCE BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY WORK ON THE APPLIANCE **
